During the last weekend in April each year, April 29 through May 1, 2011, Brentwood College in Mill Bay, near Cobble Hill, Shawnigan Lake, Cowichan Bay and Duncan, is host to the Brentwood Rowing Regatta, the 2nd largest highschool level Regatta in all of North America. About 1500 athletes and coaches participate in this 41st annual event. The Royale Cup Canadian Women's Amateur Championships will take place at the Duncan Meadows Golf & Country Club, July 18-22, 2011.
