Delight in a multitude of scenes from seasonal storybooks and songs, revel in the holiday smells of cedar and pine, feel your spirits raised by the sounds of carolers.

Heritage Village has been decked with a spectacular array of Christmas lights and displays designed to get you and your loved ones into that holiday spirit!

A special new attraction this year is the create-your-own magical holiday show with sound-reactive lights at the bandstand. Over 400 lights change colour and blink in response to each sound you make. You’ve got to try it out!

Heritage Christmas features demonstrations, activities, exhibits, and entertainment based around the early 1900s – and no visit is complete without taking a spin on the beautiful C.W. Parker Carousel next to the multi-coloured sparkle of this year’s gigantic Christmas tree.

The Burnaby Village Museum, previously known as Heritage Village, is a ten acre, open-air museum of the 1920’s come to life. Walk down Burnaby’s streets of the past with period-costumed villagers, old time shops, a working blacksmith, the historic, 1912 C.W. Parker Carousel, and the restored, Interurban tram #1223.

Enter the time machine that is Burnaby Village Museum and travel back to the Christmas past – you wont be disappointed!
