Incorporating state-of-the-art technology, FlyOver Canada suspends you, feet dangling, in front of a huge, 20m spherical projection screen. Special effects simulating wind, mist, and scents further deepen the illusion as the film transports you from east to west across Canada, revealing her most thrilling sights – all while never leaving Vancouver!
The FlyOver Canada team and Sherpas Cinema spent over a year traveling 6000 kilometers from coast to coast in order to capture Canada’s most amazing vistas for an experience you will find nowhere else.
Prior to boarding the FlyOver Canada ride, you will be treated to Uplift! An incredible, up close and personal view of Canada all on its own, Uplift! was created specifically for FlyOver Canada by the Montreal-based, multi-media production company Moment Factory which is known for installations for groups like Microsoft, Disney, and Cirque du Soleil.
FlyOver Canada is located in Canada Place – well worth visiting in its own right! With your FlyOver Canada experience taking approximately just a half hour of your day, it makes sense to plan to spend some time marveling to explore Canada Place with its magnificent architecture, spectacular views, War of 1812 exhibit, the Heritage Horns, and more – a great way to spend the afternoon!
FlyOver Canada is open year round, 10 am to 9 pm, 7 days a week. Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more. You must be over 40″ tall to ride FlyOver Canada.
