Temperatures are beginning to drop in British Columbia’s Thompson Okanagan, and snow is starting to fall. Visit the Kelowna Art Gallery, which features the work of Canadian artists in general and British Columbia and Okanagan artists in particular. Explore art by the Haida, Kwaguilth, Tsimshian, Coast Salish, and other British Columbia and Canadian tribes at Turtle Island Gallery.
Evening entertainment is found at such venues as the Kelowna Community Theatre, the Kelowna Actors Studio, and The Habitat – a place to eat, listen, and celebrate. Step out for an evening of classical music at the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra, and enjoy a variety of performances at the Rotary Centre of the Arts, a visual and performing arts centre that both celebrates and fosters creativity.
