Benchmark - A Boutique Experience.

As regular travelers we wanted to combine a modern boutique hotel experience with the informality, hospitality and warmth of an English Country Inn.

Benchmark has been extensively remodeled to provide guests with privacy, first class amenities and refined comfort. Above all we pride ourselves on providing our guests with friendly attentive service and advice so that they can get the most from their trip to Naramata.
Attention to the smallest details ensures that you will have the relaxing vacation experience you've been looking forward to.

Our Suites
All our Suites have been decorated with high quality furnishings, fabrics, appliances, linens and modern art and glass works from around the world.
Suites are finished in fresh white with Maple flooring and color accented walls, UV blinds, ambient lighting, cushions and throws to create a real Wow factor.
For your comfort suites are professionally soundproofed to ensure complete tranquility during your stay.
Our spacious en suite bathrooms have been fitted with superior fixtures and fittings and color accented to complement the suites.

Eat Breakfast like a King (or a Queen)
At Benchmark we take Breakfast seriously! Our guests can get an early start to the day before heading out to discover our beautiful region with our Continental breakfast of coffee, tea, freshly baked goods and juices.
Or for those who prefer a more leisurely start they can dig into a freshly prepared sumptuous breakfast using, wherever possible, organically produced local ingredients.
Guests may take breakfast in their room, on their private pool side patio area, our communal outdoor dining pavilion.
Whatever the option the Lake views and great food will ensure you are well set up for the day ahead.

Gardens
Whenever you arrive you will be simply amazed by the stunning lake and mountain views from the professionally landscaped gardens at Benchmark estates.
The gardens were designed using local rock and plants in a minimalist style to give a real Zen feel.
Each guest suite comes equipped with a circular rattan daybed for two where you can sit and lounge the day away!

Relax in our heated Swimming Pool and Hot Tub
After a day exploring local wineries, hiking on the many local trails or biking on the Kettle Valley Railway, head back to Benchmark and relax!
Each guest room has direct access to our large heated swimming pool which in the evening is soothingly lit with ambient underwater lighting.
Or simply relax in our 8 person spa tub located on a bluff overlooking the Naramata River and Lake Okanagan.

Guest BBQ Dining Pavilion
After a day's activity guests who do not wish to make dinner reservations at a winery or local restaurant can relax and enjoy a BBQ in our large outdoor Dining Pavilion.
For busy guests who may not have found the time to go grocery shopping we provide a Benchmark BBQ pack of AAA Steaks, Burgers and Salad items.

Naramata
Many visitors tell us they feel reluctant to tell friends and acquaintances about Naramata. They want it to remain a well-kept secret!
We understand this! We made this special place our home because of its natural beauty, sunny climate, old world charm and sheer Naramata feel good factor.
Naramata has a large variety of activities for you to enjoy. Soak up the sun on a pristine beach; explore more than 25 local boutique wineries producing small quantities of high quality wines. Visit a local artisan or art gallery and find that special handmade piece, Dine on gourmet cuisine or more casually on locally produced fare.  
For those guest who like outdoor activities go for a wake-board lesson, get a workout on a stand up paddle board, explore your inner self with a yoga retreat, grind out some stress on a mountain bike trail or simply enjoy the views from the Kettle Valley trail.
Naramata is one of only two Canadian towns who are members of the Cittaslow movement.
Municipalities which join the Cittaslow association are motivated by citizens who value earlier
