Please enjoy our Video     Clair's Bed & Breakfast is an elegant heritage art deco home that was built in 1922 by the Baker Family.  It is located on a quiet corner in the heart of the turn of the century fishing and farming village of Ladner, just a block from the water's edge.  Clair has lovingly redecorated  her home in the art deco stylings of the 1920's.
Each of Clair's six lovely guest accommodations; three cozy  rooms and three deluxe  suites;  have an individual style all complete with comfortable beds, private en-suite bathrooms, free wireless internet & televisions in most of the rooms, luxurious full length white cotton bath robes are provided for your use, and many added extras.
In the morning awake to the smell of their freshly roasted, ground and brewed coffee, enjoy a full hot home cooked breakfast in Clair's elegant dining room.  Spend the day exploring, then dine from a wide variety of wonderful restaurants within walking distance of the Bed & Breakfast, these include five star country french cuisine, authentic greek, seafood, italian, Japanese or  choose from the other numerous eating  establishments.
If you are just passing through on an adventure elsewhere we are the perfect place to stop for the night! If you care to stay and explore and relax for a time, we have lots to see and do in this area of Delta.  Shopping in  the Village!  Discover that we are just minutes from Westham Island which is home to the world reknown Reifel Bird Sanctuary, a spot known for the famous Russian Snow Geese as they make their annual migration.  Enjoy watching the soaring bald eagles, they are amoung just a few of the many bird species sighted through the lush farming area around Ladner.  Nearby are a number of wineries  and farms where local produce can be purchased.  You can easily fill a day with bicycling, kayaking or hiking the miles of waterfront  and beach's or visit famous Burns Bog.  Rent horses for the afternoon and enjoy the prepared trails.  Check with Clair before you head out on your adventure and she can prepare a picnic lunch for you at a nominal charge.
Clair's Bed & Breakfast is located an easy 15 minute drive through lush farmland and heritage homes to the B.C. Ferries that can deliver you to Victoria & Nanaimo on Vancouver Island.  This ferry terminal  is also the departure point for you to travel to other destinations in the Gulf  Islands  such as Mayne Is, Saturna Is., North and South Pender Islands.

Ladner is situated just off of Highway 99 which is the direct  link between the beautiful city of Vancouver and the Peace Arch (Blaine, WA, USA.) Border Crossing.  You can travel from our door step in Ladner Village to downtown Vancouver in  under 30 minutes, as well as travel to/from the U.S.A. border in about the same amount of time.  Why not spend time relaxing in the country atmosphere while being close to the hustle and bustle of Vancouver.
