Cobble House
Our Cobble Hill Bed & Breakfast is a peaceful haven in the heart of Vancouver Island's Wine region. On a forested acreage with a creek, we offer a quiet and relaxed atmosphere and spacious accommodation. Our location in the Cowichan Valley, halfway between Victoria and Nanaimo, makes us a great central location from which to explore southern Vancouver Island.
Our three guest rooms are spacious and well equipped with a comfortable sitting area, coffee & tea making facilities, small bar fridge, portable fan, radio/cd player, and outside roll shutters to keep the rooms comfortable in the summer. Television is available in the common area, the Great Room, and we have one TV/DVD unit we can roll into a guest room.
Relax on our flower filled deck after spending the day exploring. Enjoy the birds at their feeders. Perhaps the squirrels will show up too and some deer may wander by. We often see owls and very occasionally we see black bears or elk. Enjoy dinner and local Cowichan Valley wines at one of several award winning restaurants in the area. The Cowichan Region has become well known for its food as well as its wine. We are just down the road from both Merridale Cidery and Unsworth Vineyards and Amuse Restaurant on the Vineyard.
Bring your bicycles and ride the Trans Canada Trail and visit the heritage Kinsol Trestle.
If you are visiting in the off-season, enjoy the Russian fireplace in the Great Room.
We speak Dutch as well as enough German to have a conversation with you!

Our cancellation policy is 7 days, i.e. 30% of the total reservation, plus tax, is charged to the credit card if the reservation is cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival, unless it is cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival when the full amount, plus tax, is charged. There is no charge if we are able to re-rent the room.
