Discovery Place Retreat and Cottage
Our newly created Estate was uniquely designed as an executive retreat. Our goal is to provide you with stylish comfort, attractive appointments and personable service. The property is situated on 2 acres of Fir and Cedar trees with a view of the ocean. We have taken particular interest in creating a place of beauty where you can enjoy the feeling of space and privacy.
The abundance of windows, spacious 9 ft ceilings, pillared archways, create openness. Six inch crown moldings, 7 inch baseboards, with window and door trim to match, and double door closets add continuity and detailing; along with styling of fine furniture, prints and original paintings. A floor to ceiling rock fireplace provides warmth and crackling from the wood burning flames, and live music and a piano in the main living room are for those with the talent.
Our unique difference is that we have incorporated: in-floor heating with tile and hardwood floors throughout, Air Conditioning, Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV) giving continuous fresh air. These features are for your ultimate comfort and particularly helpful for anyone with asthma or allergies.

Our main interest is to ensure your stay with us is truly enjoyable. A 50% deposit of the Total booking value is applied at time of booking to guarantee your reservations. A further 50% of the remaining Total is applied with less than 14 days cancellation notice by email, or the full amount for less than 48 hours notice.
