The House on Dunbar Bed and Breakfast is nestled in the peaceful, tree-lined neighbourhood of Dunbar is my charming heritage home, complete with luscious greenspace and stylish black stucco exterior.  Every inch of my three-storey 1920s home has been updated and transformed into an elegant Bed-and-Breakfast retreat.

We are located a short 5 min drive to the University of BC and the beaches and enjoy close proximity to many other Vancouver attractions.

Three guest rooms feature luxury pillow-topped queen size beds, computer station and WIFI, plasma TV, private or en suite bathrooms.

The guest social area features an open spaced concept, pronounced by plenty of natural light from two long rows of skylights, sizeable windows and glass patio doors, furthermore expanding charming indoors into lush, scenic outdoors.  The expanded open area has a place to cook, dine, work, relax or watch a favorite TV program on fabulous 50" plasma TV.  Bright recently refinished room is contemporary, yet relaxed with stone fireplace, slate columns, custom-designed furniture in wood and leather.  Unique hand-crafted round marble table with six low stools is an import from the Far East.  Artistic displays portray contemporary works of local craftsman inspired by Native Indian Art along with imported ethnic art and antiques.  

Full self catered kitchen available for guests features raised bar, glass tile backsplash and hand crafted maple/zebra wood cabinetry.  Long term guests particularly enjoy the ability to cater their own meals.

Stunning outdoor space features single level deck, old trees, lavish foliage, and fine lawn. Free standing deck furnished with bistro mosaic table and iron chairs.  Accented with sculptures and soft lights, ideal for long leisure evenings.
