St Marys River Bed and Breakfast

Our newly built home and B&B are located in Wycliffe B.C., just off  highway 95A between Kimberley and Cranbrook and minutes away from the Canadian Rockies International Airport.  

This inviting countryside B&B on the banks of the St Marys River provides our guests with 3 bedrooms, a common sitting room, kitchen facilities, and BBQ on the patio- all overlooking the river.

The “Wild Room” has two double beds while the “River” and “Mountain” rooms have a queen sized bed and a single bed.  All rooms have private shower/bathroom facilities, overhead fans and bar fridges.  Wi-fi can be accessed throughout our B&B.

Entrance to our B&B is from the parking area through the B&B door.  The Common Room has a sitting area, kitchen (with dishes), satellite T.V. and door to the patio overlooking the field and river.  Breakfast is provided in the Common Room.  A variety of cold and hot foods are prepared and you access them when you are ready to eat.

Fishermen staying at our B&B have exclusive and  direct access to the St Marys River (where access is very limited)just outside our front door to walk/wade or float fishing. (we shuttle if you like-see website)  Guests can do other activities to enjoy the river:  kayak, canoe, swim, take guided raft trips, dapple or explore as one pleases.

Golfers staying at our B&B are within an hour’s drive of 26 courses.  The most well-known courses, and some of the closest to us, Trickle Creek, St.Eugene Mission, Bootleg Gap, Shadow Mountain and 2 community courses are within a 5 to 15 minute drive.

Adjacent to our property is the newly developed, paved ‘Rails to Trails’ path.  Guests can bike, rollerblade or stroll for fitness or to enjoy the views.

We can also direct you to mountain biking areas, alpine hiking trails and many “free riding” areas.  There are Mtn Biking Centres in both Cranbrook and Kimberley.

The winter season provides even more activities for your pleasure as we are 15 minutes from the Kimberley Ski Hill and Nordic Centre.  

The East Kootenays provides opportunities for many outdoor activities. We, at St Marys River Bed and Breakfast will provide You, our guests, with a calm, scenic and nutritious start to your day and a soothing, restful end as you watch the eagles and ospreys soar, then snuggle in and fall asleep to the ripple of the river.
