West End Guest House

Situated on a quite side street, one block from the bustling shopping and dining street - Robson, the West End Guest House has been a favourite of travelers to Vancouver since 1985.

Originally the house was the home of the Edwards Family, prominent photographers in early Vancouver.  On display are several of their photos from days gone by.  Each room has a specially painted art piece called "The Lost Houses of the West End" commemorating this area a hundred years ago.

Each room has it's own bathroom and there is plenty of social areas around the house as well.  
Offered are several different types of rooms - A full or Double sized bed for single travelers, the Twins room for 2 people requiring two beds, queen beds and one king bed and a queen and sofa bed.  All rooms have TV/DVD players, hair dryers and various other amenities.

The Sundeck with it's awning is a favourite on sunny summer afternoons after a day sight seeing.

Our location is so close to Stanley Park you might like to cycle the SeaWall.  We offer two mountain bikes for this purpose.  We lend them out at no charge each day between 10 and 2 pm and 2 and 6 pm.

A Guest Pantry is available at all hours of the day for tea, snacks, DVDs, magazines and tourist information.

Every afternoon between 5 and 7 pm we offer our Sherry Service.  This is a time to meet other guests of the house and be helped with restaurant reservations and tourist related questions...or just a chat with another guest.

Parking is available for all guests and our central location might mean you leave your vehicle for most or all of your stay.

An often heard comment is that we have thought of everything.  Naturally that is impossible to do but we do try our best to make your stay in Vancouver and the West End Guest House as perfect and memorable as possible.
